It’s extremely stylish, helped by the involvement of Steve McQueen, but it works so well chiefly because acclaimed documentary maker Bruce Brown played it straight, and trusted that showing US motorcycle racing in its various Faster/Fastest/ Hitting the Apex Directed by Mark Neale Three MotoGP documentaries from the same director, now available in a box set that could take over a whole weekend, not just one evening.
