01 Core Values In a bid to gain a greater understanding of how core body temperature can impact on cycling, a number of pro teams are trialling new tech to monitor each rider’s thermoregulation. Quick-Step is among the teams leading the trials and it tested the waters with a CORE system during the 2020 Giro d’Italia. The CORE tracker is the first device of its kind. It’s a wearable gadget that continuously measures core body temperature during endurance performance, and it is now commercially available to all cyclists (£197.95).
