LOOKING FORWARD OUR MINDSET AROUND GETTING OLDER HAS SHIFTED. MOST NOTABLY, WE’VE COME TO APPRECIATE THAT EVERY PASSING YEAR IS A PRIVILEGE – WHICH WE’D RATHER EXPERIENCE THAN NOT. I LIKE TO BELIEVE THAT WE’RE ALSO COLLECTIVELY RAILING AGAINST THE CONCEPT OF ‘ANTI-AGEING’ – WHICH IS SO REDUCTIVE AND PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON LOOKING YOUNGER, RATHER THAN LOOKING AND FEELING AS GOOD AS POSSIBLE. INSTEAD, I THINK IT’S MORE INTERESTING TO EXPLORE HOW TO AGE CONSCIOUSLY: WHAT ARE THE SMART CHOICES WE CAN MAKE NOW THAT WILL ENSURE WE’RE STRONGER AND HEALTHIER – IN MIND AND BODY – IN THE DECADES AHEAD?
