My relationship with beauty changes as I get older. Part of that has been trying to unpick some of the beauty standards we’ve all grown up with. Just like everyone else, I grew up reading the magazines and feeling a certain expectation to be ‘that woman’, but now I’ve been in those images, I know about the hours in hair and make-up and all the lighting and Photoshopping that goes into them.
