Mossberg Hits the Mark With the MC2sc

In 2019, Mossberg unveiled its striker-fired MC1sc pistol, a thin and small pistol that ate from Glock 43 magazines that we reviewed back in CONCEALMENT 14. While a solid gun, it was outclassed by the magazine capacity offered by the myriad of micro nines flooding the market. Mossberg retooled and launched its MC2 line the following year, feeding from new double-stack metal magazines that brought it back to parity. This offering was the MC2c that we covered in CONCEALMENT 17. It’s a 3.9-inch barreled compact pistol that sits between the Glock 19 and Glock 48 in size.
