Reflecting on another success

The largest quilt show in Europe, the European Patchwork Meeting (EPM), was held in September last year and was another marvellous success by all accounts. Staged in four villages of the Val d’ Argent near Sainte Marie aux Mines in Alsace, France, EPM 2015 showcased more than 1200 quilts in a series of specialist shows. They included a display from South Korean quiltmakers, solo exhibitions by Genevieve Attinger and Sheila Frampton-Cooper, and the Best of QuiltCon 2015, among others. Each year EPM stages an international contest on a chosen theme. The theme for 2015 was “reflection”. Kathryn Harmer Fox won first prize with her work A Life Lived in Ink.
