I don't have a die cutting machine, but I hand-cut a lot of circles for my cards using a pencil and compass. It takes forever, is there a quicker way? If you're cutting the same sized circle over and over again, punches are your best bet. If you want something a bit more flexible, how about the Circle Spin & Trim from We R Memory Keepers, or the docrafts adjustable circle cutter? Both allow you to cut different circles quickly and easily. I want to create easy foiled strips on my cards, any tips? Grab some double-sided tape and a roll of foil.
