Centennial President Features on Newest Medal

Benjamin Harrison was the 23rd president of the United States, serving from 1889 to 1893. He was also the centennial president, inaugurated 100 years after George Washington. Before his presidency, he established himself as an attorney, Presbyterian church leader, politician, and colonel in the Union Army. Known for his front-porch campaign, expanding the Navy, the Sherman Silver Purchase Act, The Forest Reserve Act, and so much more, collectors of the Presidential Silver Medals will be delighted to add the newest addition to their collection. On Feb. 10, the U.S. Mint will release the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Silver Medal. The obverse of the one-ounce silver medal depicts a bust of Harrison. The reverse features the inscription “INAUGURATED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MARCH 4 1889.”…
