Park Quarters in Review

The America the Beautiful Quarters Program (ATB) is also known as the Parks Quarters program. These coins were issued between 2010 and 2021. This series of quarters (United States 25-cent pieces) depict on the reverse (back) a National Park, National Historic Site, or National Forest, one for each U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia. The obverse (front) of the coin depicts George Washington in a modified version of the original portrait used in 1932 on the Washington Quarter. The America the Beautiful Parks Quarter Series was issued at the rate of five new designs each year in the order in which the selected sites were first established as national sites.
