Palms Springs, California, has turned into the queer desert mecca of the west as Hollywood producers and artists from around the U.S. have made it their home. That includes Kevin and Tyler, the owners of Queertique, which is one of the many new LGBTQ businesses remaking the Palm Springs scene. Queertique supports the LGBTQ+ community by showcasing local and international queer artists. Located in the heart of downtown, their mission is to preserve and promote the budding queer scene in this traditionally gay town, helping it evolve into the Provincetown of the West. Kevin and Tyler packed up their lives in Seattle in late 2020 and restarted in the magical desert.
