So Hannah decided to use the ‘zebra’ reflector side, which is a combination of gold and silver stripes, rather than the complete gold side. This added just enough warmth to the frame to make the food look appetizing and inviting. Expert insight Stack the scene Victoria says… To draw the eye through a scene it’s important to layer up the shot – you need something in the foreground, middle ground and background to make it look interesting throughout the frame, especially when shooting across the food, rather than from above.…
