Mongolian folk with instruments most Westerners haven’t even heard of! However, the most iconic transformations of the Four Horsemen’s anthems have still come from Apocalyptica. The Finnish ‘cello metal’ collective’s debut, 1996’s Plays Metallica By Four Cellos, didn’t just do what its title says, it did it with such grace and grandeur that nothing else they’ve attempted has proven more popular.
