SLAYER ARE BACK! Almost five years after they wrapped up their Final World Tour with two massive shows at The Forum in Los Angeles in November 2019, the thrash metal legends made an all-conquering return to the stage, with headlining festival appearances at Riot Fest in Chicago on September 22, and California’s Aftershock – pictured here – on October 10. An additional slot at Kentucky’s Louder Than Life festival on September 27 was cancelled, due to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. That hasn’t stopped the band’s resurrection from being triumphant, however.
