“AMENRA ARE LIKE MY BIG BROTHERS”

Caro Tanghe, from fellow Flemish band Oathbreaker, explains how she ended up singing on De Doorn

CARO TANGHE: SIMON KALLAS When did you first meet Amenra? “I don’t remember, but I definitely see them as being like my big brothers. We share a bandmember, Lennart [Bossu, who plays guitar in both Amenra and Oathbreaker], we’ve toured together around the world – they gave us great opportunities. We all became really close friends.” Have you sung with them before? “When I was around 15 or 16, I sang with Amenra at a show in Kortrijk [in Belgium] where Colin was doing a body suspension. That was the first time I sang during an Amenra show. It was a very intense experience!
