Find images quickly using Places

Use the new Places option to locate images according to where they were captured

Because we take our iPhone with us wherever we go, we are always ready to snap a selfie or capture daily activities. As a result we are faced with a continually growing collection of photographs to manage. Traditionally we tend to browse photos according to when they were captured, but thanks to the iPhone’s ability to geotag images, we can find photos according to where they were shot as an alternative to when. For example, if we want to access recent holiday snaps we can use Photos’ Places option to see clusters of holiday snaps on a map. This is a fun and efficient way to stir up memories of your holiday.
