BitBar is an interesting utility that enables you to put tools in the menu bar in macOS. It does nothing on its own, but plugins can be installed that then appear in the menu bar. Various plug-ins are available at the BitBar website (getbitbar.com) and elsewhere, such as GitHub (bit.ly/2fxcpek). Some plug-ins perform useful tasks, like showing whether the macOS firewall is on or off and if Stealth mode is enabled. They can display the weather, network information like your IP address, conversion rates and much more.
