If you send an email, can you be sure that no-one will be able to read it except the person you sent it to? No. Someone could intercept it and read it, because it lacks any security. This problem can be solved by encrypting the messages sent from Mail. To do this you need a free email certificate from Comodo (bit.ly/1TzS5SH), which acts like a lock and key. Send a friend an email and Mail includes a key (the certificate). They reply to your email and that includes their key.
