Configure Language & Region settings

Set your Mac up to work flawlessly across any language and country with a few tweaks

Whether you’re lucky enough to spend your time in different countries or simply work with colleagues overseas, setting your Mac up to work with other languages and regions has never been easier. Tucked away in System Preferences is the Language & Region preferences pane. In here you’ll find everything you need to switch time zones, work with different currencies or type in an entirely different language on your keyboard. For a quick change, you can add a new country to your preferred languages or change the region setting, which will update almost every other detail for you.
