Turn your shaky iPhone videos into stylish epics worthy of Hollywood… or at least YouTube!

Like GarageBand, iMovie is a great app for helping you unleash your inner creativity. In this case you can take your video clips, however ropey the quality, and transform them into stunning movies that look like they were made by professionals. Importing footage into iMovie is easy, and once you have built up a library of clips you can get to work turning them into stunning crowd pleasers. This is done by dragging footage down into your timeline and then trimming excess flab (by double-clicking on clips and moving the sidebars), adding cool transitional effects and titles (including start and end credit sequences) and even applying your own soundtrack – which could consist of music that you have made yourself in GarageBand.
