The Photos app has replaced iPhoto and it is much more akin to the mobile iOS versions that you will find on your iPhone or iPad. Whenever you import photos into the app they will be automatically organised by time, date and location for easy perusal, and you can easily browse albums or click on individual images to view them full-screen. What’s more, if you need to make edits to your images, the app includes a surprisingly varied array of editing options that allow you to crop, adjust the colours and add filters to make certain pictures more eyecatching.
