By now, you should be well into making hearty duck gumbos and shucking salty, meaty oysters while knocking back a cold beer or two. The hunting and fishing seasons seem to blend effortlessly with a different kind of season on the horizon. As quickly as Christmas positions itself in our rearview, New Year’s comes and goes just as fast. For most people, this time of year represents clean slates, reflection, and resolutions.
