Selon le rapport publié par l’OCDE, « Joining Forces for Gender Equality », la faible place des femmes dans l’entrepreneuriat pèse sur l’économie, car elle entrave la création d’emplois, l’innovation et la croissance. Le cabinet McKinsey a calculé, en s’appuyant sur des données OCDE de 2022 sur les contributions technologiques, que le PIB augmenterait de 260 à 600 milliards d’euros si la part des femmes dans la main-d’œuvre technologique doublait en Europe d’ici à 2027.
