Qu’on apprécie ou pas Top Chef, force est de constater qu’en 15 saisons, de Mory Sacko à Jean Imbert, en passant par Stéphanie Le Quellec, l’émission a fourni son lot de figures gastronomiques. Et des dizaines de toques ont profité de leur aventure cathodique pour éclore et lancer leur première affaire. On pense à Adrien Cachot et son restaurant Vaisseau, à Paris, ou à Matthias Marc, qui lorgne les deux étoiles Michelin chez Substance. Jarvis Scott (photo), ancien collaborateur de ce dernier, n’en est pas encore là. Mais, quatre ans après son bref passage dans l’émission, à même pas 30 ans, il a ouvert cet automne son propre établissement dans une petite bâtisse du centre de Trouville (Calvados), qu’il exploite sur deux étages (salle classique avec cuisine ouverte au rez-de-chaussée…
