Tout, dans ce « N° », sonne comme une allusion explicite à l’univers du luxe. Cette nomenclature est étrennée par la N° 8, nouvelle figure de proue de la gamme DS, que l’on pourrait présenter comme un SUV Fastback. Car si les dimensions sont imposantes (L x l x h : 4,82 x 1,90 x 1,58 m), les lignes sont fluides, comme en témoigne l’excellent coefficient de traînée aérodynamique, annoncé de 0,24. Le nouveau vaisseau amiral de DS a été développé sur la version la plus longue de la plate-forme STLA Medium du groupe Stellantis, avec un empattement de 2,90 m.
