Christmas is great — but other traditions come once a year that are just as exciting, if you ask me. Viewed as “Design Christmas,” the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is one of those traditions. The home tour event is all about the spirit of giving (proceeds benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, which funds programs for underserved youth). Every spring since 1973, a mansion in New York City is transformed by North America’s top designers. And that includes Canadians — Les Ensembliers (2016) and Powell & Bonnell (2017) have both contributed room designs.
