FIRST IMPRESSIONS The exterior of the cabin underwent a big transformation. We replaced the old leaking roof with a black metal one, added eavestroughs, painted the exterior a dark black-green and built a composite deck. Deck in Clam Shell, Trex; lights, Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co.; log holder, Fleimio; chairs (by firepit), Polywood. “PLEASE DON’T FILL THIS PLACE with photo shoot–ready vignettes and stylist moments,” my husband, Chris, would jokingly say as I’d show him my latest flea market finds and the grand plans for our someday getaway.
