All sorts of films have been made about auto racing. There’ve been films about Formula 1, films about NASCAR, films about Championship and Dirt, and even films about Midget racing. Now there’s a film about drag racing—appropriately titled Drag Racer. The film was produced by Robert Glenn. And if the name seems vaguely familiar, it should. Robert is Top Fuel pilot Jerry Glenn’s brother. Jerry appears in the film, along with such stars of the sport as Mike Snively, Dwight Salisbury, Larry Dixon, John Lombardo, Norm Wilcox and many others. The story is about young Jeff Clark (played by Mark Slade), a bracket racer with a slight chip on his shoulder and a burning desire to make it as a Top Fuel driver as well as with Deborah Walley, who aptly handles…
