Drickandet hjälpte mot kraven på jobbet

För mig var det naturligt att ta ett glas vin efter jobbet. Jag fungerade bra bland vänner och arbetskamrater och ingen anade vad som höll på att hända.

Jag och mina kollegor träffades ofta på after work och andra tillställningar. Festerna avlöste varandra och många kunder skulle underhållas genom middagar och andra bjudningar. Jag var ny på jobbet och ville vara alla till lags. Eftersom jag bodde ensam hade jag inga krav på mig att komma hem i tid eller laga mat åt någon som väntade. Jag skötte mig själv, min ekonomi och mina tider. Det var heller ingen som hade någon åsikt när jag köpte hem lådviner, som snabbt tömdes. I många år hade jag tränat och ätit nyttigt, men när jag började på jobbet som inköpare blev det mycket övertid och jag hann inte längre med mitt vanliga liv. De nyttiga matlådorna med grönsaker byttes snabbt ut mot uteluncher och jag började gå upp i vikt.…
