Tänk så det förändras. Det som var modernt igår är hopplöst ute imorgon. Och det som döms ut av sin samtid kan bli framtidens klassiker. Lite så är det med de så kallade Per Albin-husen i Ålsten, strax utanför Stockholm. När arkitekten Paul Hedqvist ritade de vita radhusen med dess vackert gröna detaljer var det många av 1930-talets förståsigpåare som rynkade på näsorna. Husen kallades till och med för fula fågelholkar! Nåja, när statsminister Per Albin Hansson valde att flytta dit blev det plötsligt annat ljud i skällan och området blev populärt att bosätta sig i. Och om det blev poppis då är det inget emot vad det är idag. Det är inte ett bostadsalternativ för den som inte har ett rejält kapital, om man säger så … Detta stycke…
