• Being sustainable doesn’t have to blow your budget – we looked for better materials and built smaller. When possible, we used untreated sustainable timber, including cedar cladding and redwood decking.• Don’t be deterred if eco alternatives aren’t obvious at first. By asking around, we found wool batts instead of fibreglass, and recycled rubber carpet underlay instead of foam. Googling helps!• When choosing a wool carpet, shop around for the best price.
