TV-branschen är i kris. TV4 aviserar nedskärningar och Viaplay lyckades med nöd och näppe undgå konkurs. En kanal som Viaplay satsar hårt på sporträttigheterna, vilket täcker stor del av kanalens budget. För att få ekonomi i satsningen har Viaplay skurit ner på den studio som inleder stora sportsändningar, vilket enligt kanalen innebär upp till 30 miljoner i minskade kostnader. En som blivit drabbad av detta är Jennifer Kücükaslan, 36, som sedan 2021 lett Viaplays Premier Leauge-sändningar från studio. Hon blev uppsagd och gjorde för en månad sedan sin sista sändning.
