APPLE & GINGER TWIST

Cinnamon and nutmeg add a lovely hint of spicy warmth to this cocktail.

HANDS-ON TIME 5MIN. MAKES AROUND 2 LITRE (3½ PINT) – ENOUGH FOR 10 IN a large jug, mix together 1 litre (1¾ pint) clear apple juice, 1.1 litre (2 pint) ginger beer (see GH Tip, below) and juice of 3 limes. Mix together ½tsp each cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg in a small bowl. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into each glass, top with a pinch of spice, then add a sprig of fresh mint, a slice of lime and ice cubes.
