If my experience of coaching has shown me one thing, it’s that the regular club golfer – with less time to practise and play – rarely shares the same athletic ability of the role-model elite golfer. Our heroes demonstrate enviable mobility, balance and coordination which, if we are honest, we will struggle to match. And very often, in trying to copy their actions to create power, we can actually do ourselves more harm than good.
