Tuners and OEM find the middle ground in the latest Subaru WRX TR

One is never truly sure what Subaru is going to do next. A humdrum crossover, a wild concept racer that can be unlocked in Need for Speed Underground, or a performance sedan that harks back to the company’s roots. One thing we do know, and it upsets us greatly, is that the next WRX STI will be fully electric. And that’s a great shame because the sound of a flat four burbling angrily between gulps of turbo-charged air is a unique experience.
