Family Tree is a great magazine!

Saw this magazine in a doctor's office a few weeks ago and recently subscribed. Great magazine, full of information.

Great magazine overall

Great magazine but a little too basic for the experienced genealogist. Also too many articles that are only distantly related to the genealogy field

Learned Something New in the first issue

I read the magazine cover-to-cover the day I received and identified four tasks to follow-up. All four have been helpful, even though I have been on Ancestry and Family Search for more than 4 years.

Love this magazine!

If you're someone who is interested in your family tree, this magazine is for you. In 2 issues I've already found 3 or 4 useful tips. The cost is more than I normally spend but it's well worth it.

If you are starting off looking into your ancestry

Family Tree magazine is definitely a must and even if you have been at it for a few years, it is definitely a magazine that you will be tearing out articles for your files or saving the entire magazine (like me). The only possible downside is that I wish there were more articles from European (my bias, due to be 1.5 generation American married to an immigrant from Hungary) and the rest of the world's ancestry.
