Engage 4x4 is the official magazine of the Mahindra Thar, a celebration of the off-road culture in India! With unprecedented access, the magazine takes 4x4 enthusiasts behind the scenes with intimate stories of how India’s most iconic 4x4 came to life. From the concept to design, engineering, testing, manufacturing and much more — including the designers and engineers behind it all — successive issues go into depth and detail that you won’t find anywhere, all backed up by evocative imagery. We celebrate the spirit of adventure and engage 4x4 in the most remote nooks of India, from snow-capped Himalayas to virgin corners of Arunachal, the Thar desert and jungles of the South. Great escapes, cross country expeditions, iconic drives across borders, you’ll find it all here. And we will tell you how to get lost. The content mix includes tutorials on 4x4 equipment, how to drive off-road, mods, accessories and personalisation. You will find plenty of black & white imagery as we trace the evolution of the iconic 4x4 over the decades with in-depth stories penned by the most knowledgeable historians. Every issue we drive classic 4x4s that shaped the movement in India. And we feature the restorers at the forefront of keeping these classics road, and mud!, worthy. This is a bi-monthly magazine that celebrates heroes and icons. Off-road clubs are a special focus with stories on and by the community. After all Every cult has its bible and off-roading in India now has Engage 4x4.
