Electrolux’s Grand Cuisine system brings the tools and techniques used by acclaimed chefs to the home kitchen

Electrolux turned to renowned restaurateurs, including Magnus Nilsson of Sweden’s top-rated Fäviken, to help create Grand Cuisine, a four-piece kitchen system for home chefs with gourmet ambitions. The system comprises a gas hob with five flames that automatically adjust to the size of pans; a convection-steam oven with smart-screen controls and sensors that maintain uniform humidity during cooking; a vacuum sealer to preserve foods and ready them for sous vide preparation; and a blast chiller that freezes meals for storage in minutes and—a bonus for true gourmands—chills 10 bottles of Champagne in a half hour. The Grand Cuisine, which starts at $53,000, also offers a visiting chef who arrives at your door to deliver personal instructions and cooking tips.
