Two can be Frank
West Australia’s flagship contemporary dance company, Co3, has joined up with The Farm, the Gold Coast’s resident contemporary dance company, to create a magical dance theatre show for children. Called Frank Enstein (a play on the classic tale), the work is about a “lonely guy named Frank” who wants to make his imaginary friends real. The production is directed by The Farm’s Grayson Millard and Gavin Webber and combines performers from both companies. The creators promise that the show will appear as if “handcrafted and full of the love of old-fashioned techniques”. Frank Enstein first performs at The Arts Centre Gold Coast from March 31 to April 1 as part of the Bleach Festival and then moves to Perth from April 5 to 8.…
