CIVL, the International Commission for Free Flight held its annual general meeting in February when the free flight world’s sporting delegates came together to discuss issues like the implementation of the new CCC class in paragliding, a new scoring system for comps and other comp-related issues. CIVL President Stephane Malbos draws back the green curtain… Over the years CIVL has acquired a sometimes undeserved reputation for generating useless if not harmful bureaucracy, its delegates known as the ‘Travel Club.
