THE BIG BLOCK FOUR-CYLINDER

They have twin-cam heads, distributor-less ignition, Vtec valvetrains, and stunning mechanical wizardry thanks to the engineering brilliance on offer from the Honda R&D department who are closely linked to the F1 team. This amazing engine when offered in the Honda S2000 punched out a class-leading 100 hp per litre when released, but it was when the aftermarket enthusiasts got their hands on them that the numbers became truly astronomical.
