For impressive, performance-focussed Fords and stellar track action, Knockhill’s Ford Live can’t be beat. Here’s what went down.

Ford Live at Knockhill has always been a mainstay on the Blue Oval calendar, and this year was no different. There may have been a smaller turnout in the club display paddock than some years, but there were still plenty old school Fords to nosey around. Booming breakfast meets were one reason banded about for smaller numbers. In one way understandable as who doesn’t love a free morning meet? But a later start and the potential to see some proper track action beside a show takes the likes of this event to a different level. Also in paddock one there was the show and shine/concours competition. You don’t get owners arranging mirrors, setting up tents, taking off wheels and cleaning already pristine cars to mind-blowing levels at a cars-and-coffee-type meet.…
