It was a case of “better late than never” with the Cuban Bolivar Regentes, which scored 92 points. The Edición Limitada cigar was supposed to come out in 2021, but wasn’t released until early 2024. Like all Edición Limitadas from Cuba, these Bolivars are made with darker tobacco leaves culled from the upper portion of the plant and rolled in sizes that are atypical of the brand. Also atypical is the blend for the Don Lino Africa. The Duma size scored 92 points as well, but a Cameroon binder is uncommon in premium cigars. Usually, Cameroon is used for wrapper.
