The word “Cameroon” is a bit of a misnomer in La Aurora’s 1903 Cameroon line. While the cigar used to be made with a Cameroon wrapper, today it’s rolled in a leaf of tobacco grown in Ecuador from seeds used in Africa. There’s no question, however, about the quality of the Churchill, which scored 93 points and is made by the oldest manufacturer of handmade cigars in the Dominican Republic. The Don Diego Churchill comes from the same country, though a different region. It scored 91 points and is made at Tabacalera de Garcia in La Romana.
