Mike Greenaway mike.greenaway@inl.co.za The man Springbok supporters love to hate, Owen Farrell, could yet feature prominently in the British & Irish Lions series because of a concussion uncertainty over flyhalf Dan Biggar. Yesterday, coach Warren Gatland provisionally named Biggar in his side for Saturday’s second Test, but the Welshman must pass an assessment by an independent concussion consultant before being given the go-ahead to play, with the controversial Farrell waiting in the wings. The English flyhalf incurred the wrath of South African when he got away with an illegal shoulder charge on Springbok centre Andre Esterhuizen in a match at Twickenham in 2018.
