Despite attempts by friends to seek revenge against the perpetrators, 19-year-old Tyrone Visser said he just wanted to move forward with his life in a positive way.
“I am grateful to be alive. I never thought something like this would happen to me. This is my second chance, and I have no interest in negativity or violence. My dream is to become a professional soccer player,” the Grade 10 Phoenix High School pupil said.
Visser stumbled into his home and collapsed, with blood gushing from his head, one Friday night last month.
