Ethereal presence The UK’s Royal Observatory Greenwich dazzles once again with its Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, receiving more than 3,500 entries from 58 countries in 2024. Chinese photographer Geshuang Chen has been short-listed for The Palette of the Himalayas. Here, the sun and altostratus clouds form a huge corona that soars above the snowy peaks of the Himalayas.
