Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER first class DOHA-HONG KONG

BACKGROUND Oneworld member Qatar Airways flies to Hong Kong from its Doha hub twice a day, with departures at 0145 and 0810. The airline has been deploying a rather unique subfleet on the Hong Kong route – a small number of ex-Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. These planes have been operating to Hong Kong for the past two years and they remain scheduled on both daily services into the foreseeable future, which at this stage means the published schedule through summer 2025. What is distinctive about these 777-300ER aircraft is that they largely retain their former Cathay cabins and seats, but feature Qatar Airways finishes, amenities and, of course, crew and in-flight service, including a dedicated first class product.
