Lombok: Beautiful beaches and a spectacular volcano Famous for its volcanic landscapes, beautiful beaches (particularly on its southern coast) and waterfalls, Lombok is easily accessible – it’s just 40km east of Bali and there are regular ferries between Padangbai, on Bali’s eastern coast, to Lembar harbour near Lombok’s south-western tip.
