MALAYSIA: OMBAK FESTIVAL, DESARU COAST RESORT, JOHOR; SEPTEMBER 13-15 This music festival brings a constellation of stars to the tip of Peninsular Malaysia. Appearing are funk legends Nile Rodgers & Chic (pictured), The Cardigans, Grace Jones, Macy Gray, and British DJ and producer Quantic. It takes place at the One & Only Desaru Coast luxury resort, and a shuttle bus and ferry run between there and Singapore. A one-day pass is priced at RM550+ (US$125), while a two-day pass costs RM990+ (US$205).
