Singapore Airlines reopens SilverKris lounges at Heathrow

SINGAPORE AIRLINES HAS REFURBISHED its business and first class SilverKris lounges at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 2. The main change is the 16 per cent increase in seating capacity, offering room for up to 242 customers across both lounges – including additional seating at the business class cocktail bar. There has been no structural change, but Singapore Airlines has introduced new fixtures and furnishings throughout – while keeping the existing Batik design screens and props by Culinary Concepts. Marble tabletops have been polished and restored, and now feature integrated USB charging ports, while productivity pods allow guests to work in a private environment, while the shimmering blue-grey design and metallic accents is a vast improvement on the previous beige colour scheme.…
